Mbale police is holding former member of Parliament Northern City Division Mbale City and school proprietor on charges of defiling his 13 year old pupil.
The suspect has been identified as Aryampa Jackson 52 year old, a resident of Bujoloto cell, Nkoma Ward, Northern City Division, Mbale City, the proprietor of Model Primary School who allegedly defiled a 13 year old pupil in the same school and a resident of Nabitende Cell, Nakaloke Ward, Northern Division.
It is alleged that on 1st July 2024, at Model Primary school, Mbale City, at around 7:30PM the victim was passing infront of the School Director's office to classroom for preps, the director who was standing infront of his office called her and sent her for water from the borehole.
She narrated that after fetching water and later delivered it to his office, immediately the director locked the door and had unprotected sex with the victim.
She added that After few days the victim revealed this incident to her cousin sister Nakato, the duo informed teacher Alice who informed Kalabuki Abed the Guardian to the victim who eventually reported the matter to Police.
Rogers Taitika, the Elgon region Police spokesperson says the suspect was arrested to aid investigations and aggravated defilement charges have been slapped on him on MND SD ref 41/03/07/2024 to MND CRB 296/2024.
