Butebo Women Urged by Woman MP and Nrm Flag bearer Ameede to Embrace Mindset Change and Financial Empowerment for a Brighter Future

Women and youths Butebo District have been urged to adopt a positive mindset and aim high in order to build better futures for themselves and their communities.

Hon. Agnes Ameede Woman member of Parliament and Nrm Flag bearer Butebo District made this remarks in Exclusive interview with this publication at her home in Kabwangasi Town Council Butebo district, Hon. Ameede encouraged the women to focus on personal development by setting ambitious goals and moving away from limiting beliefs.

She emphasized that changing one’s mindset is the first step toward achieving lasting success. “Mindset change is key for the women to realize their full potential. You must believe in yourselves and work hard to achieve your dreams,” she said.

She also advised Youths to engage in economic empowerment initiatives such as youthlivehood , Parish development model and forming Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCOs) to help them save and invest, even with small amounts of money they earn. “Start where you are, with what you have. SACCOs are a practical tool to build financial discipline and grow your income through collective efforts,” she added.

Hon. Ameede further urged the locals to embrace love, unity, and friendship instead of involving in politics of malice, calling them the foundation of peaceful and progressive communities.

In her pledges to the electorates, she promised to be a strong advocate for the women if elected. She committed to lobbying for improved access to vital opportunities such as government scholarships to support girl child and youth-focused development programs.I will be your voice in Parliament. I will ensure women in Butebo receive timely and relevant information that can change their lives for the better,”Ameede assured her Voters.

Agnes Ameede, 55 year's old, is seeking for the Second term as Woman MP for Butebo district. Prior to that, she was a senior immigrations officer at the ministry of internal affairs, a job she retired from to participate in active politics.
