"Handover yourselves to Police Before I Come For You"- Hon.Logose Butaleja Woman Mp Warns Defilers

Butaleja District Woman MP, Hon. Sarah Annet Logose, has warned defilers to handover themselves to police before she comes for them.

‎Hon. Logose has expressed worry over the rising cases of teenage pregnancy in Butaleja District at 26%  which is beyond the national rate of 22%, and commits to arrest those defiling underage girls.

‎Hon. Logose said following her visit last week to Busolwe Health Centre III in Bunyole West County, she found a young girl of 13 years who had produced twins.

‎"Defilers handover yourselves to police before I come for you," Hon. Logose warned.

‎Logose assures that all defilers in Butaleja should immediately be arrested and law takes its course in order for young girls to attain justice.

‎She noted that defilement is order of the day in Butaleja, yet suspects are not arrested.

‎Hon. Logose calls on parents and guardians to be responsible in parenting and counseling their teenagers.

The legislator urged leaders, cultural institutions and religious leaders to join the fight against teenage pregnancy in the district.
