Bam Shopping Centre Team Leader, Mubarak Abdallah has suspended three workers over indiscipline and poor handling of customers.
Speaking to our reporter on Wednesday 2nd September ,2026 at Rates Hotel located in Indiana quarters Industrial City division Mbale City, Mubarak said the decision was taken after receiving several complaints from customers about rude and unprofessional behavior by some staff.
"As a team leader, I have suspended three workers over indiscipline. We cannot allow a few individuals to spoil the name of Bam Shopping Centre. Our customers deserve respect," Mubarak Abdallah said.
He emphasized that Bam Shopping Centre values customer care as the key pillar of its business and will not tolerate any worker who disrespects clients or violates company policies.
Mubarak apologized to customers who may have been affected and pledged that management will improve on customer care and ensure better service delivery to the Mbale community and beyond.
"We are ready to serve the people of Mbale with better services, affordable prices and total respect. We are training our remaining staff on customer care and we promise a new experience at Bam Shopping Centre," he added.
Several Customers have welcomed the move, saying it will restore discipline and improve shopping experience at one of Mbale's busiest shopping centres.
