Nakaseke district : State house Education desk, Anti Corruption Unit arrests Two Head teachers Over illegal fees Charges

‎Jimmy Nambiro the head of the education desk in state House and also serve as President Museveni's Private Secretary in-charge of Education and Skilling Head in Conjunction with the State House Anti-Corruption Unit led by Brig.Gen Henry Isoke have arrested Two Head teachers in Nakaseke district following their continued nation wide tour in the fight against illegal school fees collection in government aided schools .

‎In a consultative meeting with both Primary and Secondary Teachers of government aided schools in Nakaseke district held last Friday at Kiwoko Church Of Uganda Primary School.

‎Two head teachers who were arrested includes ; Head teacher of Kapeka Secondary School and St. Andrews Wansalachi Primary School respectfully were handed to Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigations.

‎There were several reports , acting on intelligence, the State House education desk and Anti-Corruption Unit successfully arrested two heads teachers whose names have been withheld for investigation purposes .      

                                                                            The suspects are excepted to be arraigned before the court shortly. The fight against corruption is gaining momentum.No one is above the law, and those who mismanage government programs meant to improve the education levels of Ugandans will be held accountable," Nambiro said."

‎He also commended the Head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Brig—Gen. Henry Isoke and his team for their professionalism, persistence, and unwavering commitment to fighting corruption.

‎Meanwhile, all government entities, ministries and departments are under scrutiny following President Museveni’s zero-tolerance stance on corruption, declaring that it is dangerous and will be crushed.

‎The meeting was attended by Resident District Commissioner (RDC)Nakaseke District Rosemary Byabasaija,her Deputy, Chief Administrative Officer Nakaseke, District Education Department and a team from State House.

‎Over 114 Primary School Head Teachers and 14 Secondary School Head Teachers from Nakaseke District and neighboring districts also graced this event .

‎Ignatius Kiwanuka Koomu LCV District Chairperson of Nakaseke District hailed the State House education desk for the operations which aimed at improving education and fight school dropouts across the country led by  illegal fees charges in schools .
