Butebo Woman Mp rallies Locals to Strongly Support Nrm Flag Bearers ahead LC1 Polls

Honorable Agnes Ameede the National Resistance movement flag bearer and Woman Member of Parliament Elect Butebo district, has appealed to all NRM members and leaders to overwhelmingly support and vote for the party’s LC1 flag bearers in the upcoming Local Council elections scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in Butebo and across the country.

‎The appeal follows the successful Women Council elections held on July 23, where NRM flag bearers performed strongly across the district.

‎Hon .Ameede urged NRM supporters to maintain the momentum by turning up in large numbers and voting for the party’s candidates, saying their victory will strengthen NRM leadership and service delivery at the grassroots.

‎“The foundation of leadership in this country starts with the LC I chairperson. These elections are, therefore, critical to strengthening our party structures and consolidating the gains of the NRM at the grassroots,” she said.

‎Ameede, appealed to the locals to shun violence during campaigns and prioritize harmony regardless of political affiliation. The legislator reminded lower council leaders and supporters that elections are temporary events and should not destroy family and community bonds.
