The office of the Resident District Commissioner headed by Hajj.Imran Muluga in conjunction with other National Resistance Movement leaders in Soroti district has taken the battle of presidential campaigns to the parishes as we enter the last 14 days to the highly billed national election.
Hajj Muluga stressed that his office as representative of the president , security committees and the NRM political actors have taken the mobilization drive strategically to the parishes as they also use this opportunity to map out all the polling stations in the districts.
"The mapping of the polling stations will give an opportunity for easy monitoring and supervision of the elections both presidential and parliamentary." He Said
The locals across all parishes have resolved to give Nrm candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni another term of leadership.
Residents of Soroti also applauded President Museveni for delivery in social economic transformation because of the Parish Development Model (PDM) initiative, Women Empowerment program,Emyooga and now they are anticipated five (5) cows per household has swung in favor of His Excellence – President Yoweri Museveni. "Hajji revealed."
The locals also said that the social economic infrastructure in the areas of electricity, road networks, health facilities and the magnificent seed schools now leave economic empowerment of the citizenry as areas of focus and the Ugandans to continue with the rule of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in order to continue to partake in the Parish Development Model and other economic empowerment initiatives.
His spirited and inclusive approach, branded under the “New Energy” slogan, has breathed fresh life into the party’s grassroots structures, drawing massive crowds and reigniting enthusiasm for President Kaguta Museveni’s 2026 campaign.
His strategy focuses on strengthening local party cohesion and ensuring that every NRM supporter feels part of the larger campaign machinery.
His village-based approach, the Village Mobilisation Strategy, has been widely praised for reinforcing the NRM’s grassroots presence and energizing local cadres.
