Wanyoto Vows to Prioritize Health and Development as He Seeks to Represent Mbale Northern City Division
Counsel Paul Mugoya Wanyoto has officially nominated for Member of Parliament for Mbale Northern City Division, pledging to bring lasting improvements in health services and infrastructure to the area.
While speaking to the media after his nomination, Wanyoto outlined his vision for the constituency, promising a wide range of development initiatives aimed at uplifting the lives of its residents. At the heart of his campaign, he emphasized his commitment to the well-being of the people, particularly focusing on improving healthcare and empowering marginalized groups, including the youth, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
"I am offering a plan to build on what has already been achieved and ensure more money stays in the pockets of our citizens," Wanyoto said, stressing that his approach would be community-centric.
Mr Wanyoto pointed to his past contributions as evidence of his dedication to public service. He highlighted recent initiatives, including the donation of ambulances to Namakwekwe and Namanyonyi Health Centre IIIs, painting Namakwekwe Health Centre, and providing essential maternity supplies—such as basins and soap—to mothers at health centers across the division, including Nakaloke and Bufumbo Health Center IV in Bukonde.
"My goal has always been on enhancing healthcare services for the people of Mbale Northern. If given the opportunity, I will continue these efforts and work with government agencies to improve infrastructure, roads, and the educational system in the division," Wanyoto added.
With a clear message of unity and progress, he urged the people of Mbale Northern City Division to cast their vote in his favor, promising to work tirelessly for the development of both the constituency and the wider city.
