Leaders Urge President Museveni to Promote Assistant RCC Hussein Kadimba
Mbale City – A cross-section of leaders from political and cultural circles have called on President Yoweri Museveni to promote Hussein Kadimba, the Assistant Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Mbale City, to the position of full Resident City Commissioner (RDC/RCC), citing his outstanding performance and commitment to service.
The calls were made over the weekend during Oluhuje lwa Banyole, a cultural gathering held at Nakaloke Playground in Mbale City.
Rita Namuwenge, the National Coordinator for the Emyooga program, applauded Kadimba for his dedication to mobilizing communities to actively participate in government development programs.
"Kadimba has demonstrated commitment, discipline, and effectiveness in his role. His work has significantly impacted the success of government initiatives in Mbale City. I strongly believe President Museveni should recognize this milestone by promoting him," Namuwenge said.
Mbale City Mayor, Kassimu Namugali, echoed similar sentiments, stressing the importance of rewarding public servants who excel in their duties.
“People who perform well must be appreciated. Promoting them not only motivates others but also strengthens service delivery,” Namugali remarked.
Resident City Commissioner for Mbale, Asumin Nasike, described Kadimba as a dedicated cadre of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), noting that he has been instrumental in mobilization and community engagement.
"As the Senior RCC of Mbale City, I have already recommended him for promotion due to his exemplary mobilization skills and integrity in public service,
" Nasike stated.
Kadimba’s supporters believe his promotion would serve as recognition for his hard work and inspire other public officials to emulate his example in serving the community and advancing government programs.
