Zephline Muhangi has been appointed the new regional coordinator for Western Region under the NRM Secretariat Directorate of Mobilization.
Muhangi’s appointment was announced yesterday evening in a move expected to bolster the mobilization efforts and enhance the party's outreach and organizational capacity in the region.
Describing himself as a “bonifide royal cadre” of the National Resistance Movement Party for many years, Muhangi is credited for his contribution towards the "Jaja Tova Ku Main 2026" campaign and monitoring of government programs in Ankole.
“His resilience, versatility, experience and humble life makes him the best fit for this job to better put his skills to use,” colleagues described Muhangi.
He will be serving under the NRM directorate of mobilization headed by Rosemary Sseninde.
The appointment comes at a time when the country is gearing towards the 2026 general elections whose fever has started.
Various political parties have started positioning themselves for the upcoming general election.
