Police in Mbale city have arrested 50 year old man over the allegations that he defiled two girls aged 11 and 13 year respectively.
The suspect has been identified as Swaibu Magalama a resident of Bugema C ,Mbale industrial city division, Mbale city .
It's alleged that the suspects convinced the two girls and took them to his house where he defiled them from.
Rogers Taitika the Elgon Region Police spokesperson while speaking to our reporter noted that they are working on the case file soon the suspect will be reigned in court and be charged with cases of aggravated defilement.
"Our children have often landed into trouble most especially during holiday times due to parents negligence". Taitika Said.
He further called upon all parents , guardians to be vigilant and mindful of their children safety in and outside home during this period .
