The two leaders are  Bukhabusi PDM Sacco chairperson, Michael Wandukwa and Robert Wamono Kuloba, the SACCO Secretary.

They were arrested and remanded on Tuesday 12th December, 2023 after community members tipped off RDC Imran Muluga that the elusive pair had back from where they had been hiding for the last two months.

These suspects were in October accused by PDM beneficiaries of extorting between 100,000/= to 200,000/= from each one of them but they took off after hearing that they were going to be arrested.

Imran Muluga confirmed the arrest saying the suspects were taken to court and are now remanded at Bubulo prison.

While dressing locals of Bukhabusi Sub County on Tuesday at the District headquarters who came to witness whether they had been arrested, the RDC assured the wanainchi that government will not leave any stone unturned as far as the PDM Program is concerned.
