Bukiende Rallies to Support Tonny Wamagale in Upcoming LC5 Election for Mbale District
Residents of Bukiende Sub-county in Mbale District have pledged their support for Tonny Wamagale in his bid for the LC5 Chairperson position, beginning with their commitment to giving him the NRM party flag on July 24, 2025

Suzan Natseba, a resident of Buyaka Village in Bugwanyi Parish, Bukiende Sub-county called on the people of Bukiende to rally behind Tonny Wamagale. She praised him as a consistent and down-to-earth leader, saying he is the right person to lead Mbale District.
Isaac Wambalo, another resident, told our reporter that Wamagale possesses all the qualities of a good leader, including a heart for service, courage, and transparency. He added that the community continues to suffer due to poor roads, high youth unemployment, and lack of electricity—and that their hope now rests in Tonny Wamagale.
Massa Wilson, the LC1 Chairperson of Mufura Village, emphasized the importance of electing leaders who are approachable and understand the needs of the people.
“Wamagale has tried to reach most parts of Mbale District to address the issues affecting each area. I believe if we give him the chance, he will help us,” Wilson said.
Tonny Wamagale, an aspirant for the LC5 Chairperson position for Mbale District (2026–2031), while addressing mourners at the burial of Patrick Massa in Mufura Village, Bukiende Sub-county, urged voters to support him for better service delivery.
He also encouraged residents to work hard in order to ensure food security and financial stability in their homes.
