Hon. Ismail Walujo mukankadi councilor representing workers at Mbale City council and Aspirant member of Parliament Northern city division 2026 on the National Resistance Movement ticket yesterday attended the EID -UL-FITR Final match between Army Fire and Nakaloke garage Junior which went in 0:0 full time, thereafter Army Fire emerged with 4:2 in penalities against Nakaloke garage Junior at Nakaloke play ground sponsored by Hon.mukankadi Ismail in Northern city division mbale city .
Hajji Mukankadi donated the winner with one bull, second team was given a goat and other prizes.
Hon.mukankandi said that he has been organising these football Tournaments for different festival seasons like EID cup , Christmas in Northern city division and mostly in Nakaloke ever since he joined politics.
He emphasized that these tournaments aims at developing talents and bringing All people of Northern city division together irrespective of their political Affiliations .
Mukankadi further said that this is one of strategic plans to implement his manifesto on youth issues especially on developing talents and grassroots sports in Northern city division to National and with efforts injected in our lower teams soon they will become one of the biggest football giants in the country.
However he urged brothers and sisters In Muslim faith on importance of spending time with their families and loved ones during this holiday period.
