While speaking with our reporter of voice one media updates ,Duchu said that Ministry of Health has vigorously embarked on Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) in households in Pallisa and neighboring districts of Kibuku,Budaka and Butebo and Butaleja respectively  .

He further stressed that government recently  lunched  the ‘Under the Net’ campaign ,but most people always misuse this net package .some of them use nets as fishing gears and others on farm gardens (nursery beds).

He argued communities to get back on track towards zero malaria through  sleeping  under treated  mosquito nets and playing vital  a role in eliminating mosquitoes by planting mosquito-repelling plants ,taking children suffering from malaria to nearby health facilities.

Therefore he urged government and  partners to strengthen commitment to malaria response at all levels.   He also called for increased investments including domestic resources, embracing innovations in new tools, and delivery of interventions and innovation in community engagements this will help to break barriers to access and utilization
